Eating With The Community

November is a great time of year to be thankful for the things that you have and to lend a hand to those who are not as fortunate as you. One great way to do that is by volunteering at the Mt. Calvary Community Supper.

A Hot Meal

Every Wednesday in the Fellowship Hall at 472 Massachusetts Avenue in Acton, the community comes together for a dinner. The meal is served from 5-6pm. There are no qualifications needed to come and everyone is welcome to enjoy a hot meal and some fellowship. Each meal includes a soup and/or salad, a hot entrée, dessert, and a beverage.

Volunteers Needed

Each week about 70 volunteers are needed to help prepare the meal, cook, set-up the dinner, serve the food, and clean up afterward. Anyone from high school age and up is eligible to volunteer. If you want to volunteer for any position, simply fill out this form online. The average time commitment for volunteers is 1 ½ to 2 hours. Depending on the job you volunteer for, you may need to arrive as early as 3 pm.

Come Together

At Swanson Buick GMC in Acton, MA, we think the Mt. Calvary Community Supper is one of the greatest parts of our community, and we love seeing people come together to help those in need.
